Forston is a different ball game. McShay had him listed as a pre-season 1st rounder, but with the way his career appearantly ended he'd be lucky to go by the 6th. He'd have to show NFL teams in individual workouts he's fully back to health. I don't think Streeter will regret this nearly as much as Forston will.
3rd round would be the earliest Streeter goes.
There are about 8 or 10 WRs with a better body of work than Streeter that will go in front of him and not everyone is looking for a WR...if he goes later than the 3rd round then he better come into camp blazing cause if he starts dropping balls he'll be lucky to get picked up for a practice squad, he won't be making a 53 man roster. The fact that there are no more two-a-days in the NFL limits his chances to impress and get better in camp. If you're not guaranteed getting picked in the first 3 rounds, and he's not, it's a huge risk coming out early...huge risk.
McShay is an idiot. He doesn't know crap about evaluating players, he's one of the worst out there when it comes to the NFL draft. Don't forget that this guy said there was no way Jake Long could play LT in the NFL, that he would be a RT at best. Jake Long has been in the league since 2008, playing LT and he's been picked for the pro bowl every year. Probably won't go this year but he's got some injuries he's playing with that he needs to take care of anyway.
As for Forston, I think he just wanted out. I question his drive and passion for football. Not sure he wanted to put the work in and he just seemed lazy this past season before the injury.
