Problems with this site

I'm probably not the only one but does this site drag for anyone else constantly? I don't know if it's the many ads and popups all over the place or if it's the server but I experience this daily, consistently when I try navigate around it on my laptop, iphone and even my ipad. Something is really bogging it down. Please help if you can, I love the content but sometimes it gets frustrating.

Yeah, I just thought it was my laptop for a while, but trying to get to the forums from the homepage has been real slow. I usually just tweet while I am waiting lol.

Do you guys use the mobile browser for iPads, etc?

To enable it, go to the bottom of the page, left of the yellow UPGRADE click, & click the dropdown menu. Select mobile browser. Pretty smooth.

I don't know if many of you know this, but there's an app called 'forum runner', that allows you to maneavuer through the boards of this site, it's so much simpler and faster, even faster than this site's mobile version IMO. I know it's available for apple but I don't know about the android's market place. Just wanted to share that with you all if you didn't know already. Simply just type in 'caneinsider'.

Didn't know this. I am generally on my laptop but occasionally on my phone I will try this next time I am on my droid.

For those of you using your laptop, what browser are you running? I was using internet explorer and 321 suggested I use google chrome. I must admit it has helped a lot. I suggest trying that!

However, it still isnt perfect. I think it might have something to do with either the ads and/or the auto refresh feature.

I use google chrome already. The only use for internet explorer is to download chrome lol.

Everybody should download chrome now if they haven't already. It blows everything else out of the water.

...at this point the other browsers are just copying Chrome but they are always a few steps behind.

I use Firefox, widely regarded as one of the best browsers. I have no problems really with any other site except this one. I truly think its the ad combination. It seems I get a pop up whenever I click on a forum. It's not the browser IMO.

It's sluggish a majority of the time.
