CaneInsider knew this almost a month ago and held onto the news until the appropriate time. Again just breaking a news story to be first is not the end all to end all some in the media think it is. These stories go beyond just being news worthy and must take into account the athlete involved, his family and the schools involved. Good job! CaneInsider and this shows again your commitment to the athlete and the school once again.
That being said, I know Kevin and saw him play at a level in high school that still has me believing he can play D-1 and eventually the NFL. He apparently had some issues adjusting to college life, on and off the field, and to Golden's rules. So be it. I still believe in you Kevin and Devont'a as well. I will follow these two young men and pray for them daily that they will become the young men they are capable of becoming.
Plenty of kids from FAMU have gone on to play at the next level and to be all pro as well. Good Luck Kevin! I'll be watching.

AZ....you suffer from coulrophobia...for sure, LMAO! I will be happy to introduce you to Kevin and you can tell him what you said to his face rather than being judge, jury and executioner while hiding behind a blog anonymously!

No problem. Bring him out to AZ and I'll be glad to say it to him. Listen man, if it was one of the athletes that I deal with out here then I would say far worse to him. Squandering a scholarship to Miami isn't to be taken lightly, IMO. Just the dollar amount alone on it makes me shake my head at kids that act foolish.
I sure hope you tried to give him some good advice as all of this went down, since you know him personally.
Now, if I am completely off base here and all of his drama is of no fault of his own, and he did everything completely right, and Golden is sending him off for no reason, then I will apologize.
