What I like to see from Jedd Fisch............

After spending 2 years watching the Cane's offense continue to pass the ball inside the red zone.Out with the old and in with the new, Jedd Fisch.I must confess not being familiar with a Fisch offensive game plan. Here are some of the offensive plays I like to see more of..............................

    More Screen plays
Frank Gore and Willie McGahee was 2 of most danger Running back to ever catch the ball
on design screen play..I think Storm and Miller can do the same...

    Wildcat
A small simple of the wildcat will keep Defense off-balance

    Two Tight-ends in red-Zone
Power Football will always make the play action work better

    More Mike James
I would love to see James back as a pass catching FB

The play-action Tight -end roll out pass
Now that Gordon has gone on to NFL
Maybe this play can become a weapon once again

QB checking out of BAD plays

Agree with everything except wildcat. Can't stand that crap and if our offense is effecient we won't need it.

Didn't we run some version of the wildcat when Nix was our OC?

I'd like to see more bubble screens & interceptions.

    Wait a second.

Seriously, you have some good points--but I just want an identity on offense. We haven't had a team mentality since the early 00's, & it shows when we get into tight situations & have no idea which facet of the game will get us through--let alone who the "I want the ball" guys is. Part of that was the OC hire & fire era, but to me Whip's biggest detraction was that he never developed a team on offense. He just called plays.

Couldn't agree more with this right here. Unless we have a TANK as a BULLDOZING FB, we should have another TB that can block. Mike James would fit the perfect mold of a Quadtrine Hill type and he could be very dangerous.

Excellent Post ~ imo The Wildcat can be a very very lethal weapon in our offensive scheme. ~ Wildcat is the original football play ~ A hat on A hat can wear on a opponents ( especially inferior oppenents ) will to fight ~ would be great to mix it in ~ 17 fwiw is an excellent athlete & when left uncovered can put up points. . . ~

I'm hoping Maurice Hagens is ready to go at FB this year. I think everybody forgot he's on the roster and is a beast with the ball in his hands. He came in at 5'11" 232lbs and surely should have put on some healthy weight with his RS year. This kid could be fierce at FB for us next year.

    Nailed it

Run the ball inside the redzone and/or PA TE
