BREAKING: Thomas Finnie arrested as suspect in theft of laptop (LaptopGate)

Copy of Arrest Affidavit is attached. Finnie turned himself in this morning to UM Campus police and was transported to Miami Dade County Jail. In addition to the arrest Finnie was given a campus wide trespassing warning. For his actions he has been indefinitely suspended from the team.

In addition to today's arrest we have learned the Thomas Finnie was also arrested on July 23rd for misdemeanor possession of cannabis.

How about this for a silver lining...Howard, Hope, Dortch, Gunter, and Crawford want you to know they've got it covered. Thought Golden was a little extreme with his CB recruiting but with Vernon and Finnie down it looks like we need to bring in at least 1 more CB in this class. Rashard Robinson anybody?

BTW...I still believe there was another player involved...was told the investigation got more complicated due to some past things...we'll see what shakes down there

Perhaps I ma mistaken but i thought i read somewhere that robinson can't qualify for lsu, is there any chance he is in THIS class really? even if we do sway him?

Sorry to hear about the young man making poor choices, but it looks like it maybe a wonderful day in MR. Robinson's neighborhood he apparently loved his visit an is bonding with the local miami kids on the roster currently not in jail. So we may end up stealing two from LSU,in Robinson and Williams.
