That would be a big blow to ND ... Diaco runs the D, and Kelly runs the O. Obviously, the D has been the strength of the team through this season.

I hope they get him ... Which means Golden stays.

If Golden is at risk of fleeing to Boston College, then we do not have a legitimate athletic administration. Pay the man 3 mil & lock him down. This is absurd.

Is this a joke, if Golden goes to BC then he's just about the money, and that's not how I read this guy. I think he wants to build something,not get stuck in mediocrity,which is what BC is at best, mediocre.

2 mil a year aint much more than he makes now, especially when you take into account state income tax. I have said it all along, he isn't going to BC, not enough money. Only schools I was worried about were SEC schools who like to throw money around. I could see Tenn offering 3+ mil but that would have been way too much for a guy like Golden who does not have the resume of a 3+ mil coach. If they were willing to pay that much, they can have him but so far I don't think they have gotten that desperate yet.

I do not think Coach Diaco will be returning as Def Cord for ND especially if ND upsets Bama. He is probably the hottest Assist Coach out there right now for HC job.
