Hope we break this streak we've had of beating GT and losing the following game. Did it in 09 and 10.

UVA shouldn't be a problem, but you never know.

If you think about it (and Golden did, because he mentions it in his presser), this stat isn't really that crazy. You basically have to change your whole defense for the week you play GT, and it might cause problems when you have to go back to playing 'normal' defense. In our case, I think it helps a lot that Spence is the guy who had the biggest change in role for GT. Anyway, I hope we don't get burned from the combination of losing a week of practice time working on the normal defense and having a short week.

well hopefully the D can still play remotely close to what they did vs GT. UVA has a solod run game and decent QB. I hope we blow them out but i think it will be a nail biter
