A few observations:

His maturity level has increased significantly. It's easy to see why the coaches trust him more than they trust Morris.

The grief that he gets from the home crowd may actually help us on the road. Not sure he will see an away crowd willing to boo him as loud as the home fans.

He took every bit of blame for missed throws, and made no excuses. Also didn't hear any of the false bravado from last year. I think he's gonna work to get better, and I'm looking forward to seeing how he responds at Va-Tech.

In my opinion, the young man has come a long way. And though he may never be a great college QB, or play in the NFL, the kid has done well for himself. I hope he can finish his career on a high note, and I have a greater appreciation for the belief Golden and Fisch have in him.

I always thought the kid was mature for his age... He just never had a taste for fashion haha... The kid has never blamed anyone for his failures... He even takes the blame for last season and has no negative remarks towards Whipple... The kid has always went through a lot of pressure by caring the city on his back, crazy fans, his father, and his teammates... I hope he bounces back... Too be honest, our fanbase has been looking pretty ugly the past couple of years... We need to support our team...
