Don't expect many stats after the scrimmage tomorrow.
Get your "aw man!"s out now, as per Le Herald--
Tomorrow's scrimmage is before CanesFest, but again, it is closed to family, friends, media and the public.
And unfortunately, don't expect any substantial statistics to come out of that scrimmage. I think Al Golden is going to withhold the stats this time -- except for maybe a few. We'll see.

I'd agree.
They need one good, balls-out scrimmage to nail down what they need to work on.
No use telling anyone.

Ahh well! If we get good reviews from the coaches, I dont need to know the stats. The best thing I want to hear come out of the coaches mouths is, "There were no injuries in the scrimmage yesterday"!!

I remember him saying in an interview along the lines that the stats released weren't indicative of what happened because of situational football (the ball being put on the 20-yard line, hence a ton of rushing TDs). He kind of pointed out the media not taking that into consideration when writing their stories after seeing the stats. He could always open up the scrimmage to media

I'll add a few more items to the list of things I'd like to hear...
1.) One or two DTs stepped up.
2.) Curtis Porter's last 10 plays looked as good as his first 10.
3.) A couple DEs not named Chick or Shayon stepped up.
4.) Minimal MEs and minimal penalties.
5.) Extremely high effort---great conditioning.
6.) Cleveland stepped up and made some plays.
