Wow.
That's a unique kind of class. Not sure I could have said that.
Rest in Peace, theu75.

Well, of course, I like to win a lot of games, but I also like to feel that the kids are being treated with dignity and respect and with a genuine concern for their welfare. Frankly, if I didn't like the way the kids were treated, I would already be out of here.
I really like Coach Golden's energy, creativity, and attention to detail, but perhaps my favorite thing about him is the way he deals with the kids and the rest of the community. That cordiality will attract recruits to the idea of spending several years of their lives at UM, but I do not think the coach is putting on an act to get the kids to sign up; I think he just genuinely likes people.
I thought Randy had a refreshing integrity and desire to do the right things, but he seemed constitutionally aloof, and maybe a bit introverted. I can relate to that because I am somewhat that way myself. I like people, but I also enjoy some time to myself. I would probably not be a good football coach because I have too many other interests.
Anyway, the more I learn about Coach Golden, the happier I am to have him as our coach.
