I think it's somewhat high risk...He doesn't have head coaching experience in the college ranks, but who knows who he'll bring in with him. Maybe his assistants have been former college head coaches and can show him the ropes and teach him the rights and wrongs of recruiting. I'm sure he wouldn't be interested if he didn't believe he could do the job nor had the help and support from a staff to do it.

We've seen guys like Monte Kiffen who cant do anything unless they have talent...I want a guy who knows how to evaluate HIGH SCHOOL kids and has been doing it for a while...Gruden wouldnt be in my top 5...Thats just my opinion...He could be great or could absolutely flop...I would go with PROVEN college success....
