The additionally crazy thing is that TMZ reported it about an hour ago & ESPiN is just now carrying it--& giving credit to the nebulous network known as "The Associated Press". The internet can't make them irrelevant quickly enough.

Wonder if it was suicide? He supposedly tried suicide two years ago.

I am truly saddened by this. Junior Seau was an AWESOME person on and off the football field.

This was one of the most shocking news I have heard in a while. I remember and followed Junior while he was at USC and of course the Chargers. He was one of the few players you can say he was an excellent role model for kids. Very sad day today. My prayers go out to his family.
