The Miami Hurricanes have only one offensive line commitment and that’s Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller tackle Alex Gall. The 6’5, 300-pounder has been staying in contact with the UM coaching staff just to keep updated.
“Yes, I talk with them periodically and try to keep in touch and up to date on how things are going,” Gall said.
His commitment remains solid to the Canes despite other schools gunning for his services.
“My commitment to UM is 100 percent and I will not bat an eye at any other schools,” Gall said. “And for the most part I told all the schools trying to get me to switch that I am committed to Miami 100 percent and will not change my mind.”
He will be enrolling at The U as soon as he is able to.
“Moeller, my High School, does not allow students to graduate early,” Gall said. “I tried to set my schedule up to do so freshman year but the way our academic system is set up, it does not allow us to graduate early. But I will be reporting for the first summer session that starts on June 5th I believe.”
Out of the current UM commits, Gall is building a good bond with two.
"I try to contact them all but some are hard to reach but mainly Jeremy Kerr (TE from St. Petersburg HS) and Standish Dobard (TE from Edna Karr HS)," Gall said.
