Five Miami commits played their hearts out this weekend in hopes of getting a state championship ring. Well, it worked out good for some and bad for others. Here is a look at how they performed during the biggest game of their season.
RB Duke Johnson – Duke had a very impressive performance throughout the entire game. At running back he had 21 carries for 130 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also had one fumble and one interception. He had 2 punt returns for 13 yards and 1 kick return for 69 yards and a TD.
OL Ereck Flowers – He dominated and helped Duke Johnson have a more than successful state game.
LB Reggie Northrup – First Coast linebacker who finished second on his team in tackles. He had 11 total tackles with 8 solo tackles.
WR Malcolm Lewis – The talented Miramar wide receiver had 7 catches for 94 yards and 1 touchdown. He also had a 37 yard kick return.
S Rayshawn Jenkins – Admiral Farragut athlete who played multiple positions during the state game. He had 4 catches for 24 yards. He had 3 total tackles, 1 solo. Also returned 2 kicks for 3 yards.
