2014 WR/TE Moral Stephens (6’4, 203, 4.56/40) of Taylor County HS says he’s interested in FSU, Florida, Clemson, South Carolina, Alabama, and Miami. “I get mail from all of them.”
The Big Bend Elite (Tallahassee) 7-on-7 WR said he’ll consider Miami in his recruiting process. “Yes sir, I like Miami. I’ll consider UM if they call me, but they haven’t reached out to me yet.”
Stephens talked about what he’s seeking from a college football program. “I want to win games and win a national championship, but I would consider a solid up and coming program, too. I’d like to be apart of a family, for everyone to be close,” he said. “My mom doesn’t want me to go very far, so location will factor into my decision. I’m going to try my best to stay close.”
The Taylor County HS star also plays basketball and will have options when deciding on what sport to play collegiately. “I play basketball, point and shooting guard. I average 19 points and eight rebounds per game,” Stephens said. “It really depends on what schools offer me for football and basketball, on what sport I choose. But if I had to choose right now, I want to play football.”
Stephens said his best attributes are, “My hands. I don’t drop any passes, I have hands like glue,” he said. He reports that, “I want to get more flexible, become more fluid. I also want to get faster and stronger.”
