Athlete TJ Johnson, from Cape Coral (Fla.) Island Coast High School, has been quiet during the recruiting process. He holds offers from Miami, Arizona, West Virginia, Notre Dame, FIU, Ole Miss, South Florida and Tennessee.
Johnson, 5’7 and 155-pounds, told CaneInsider.com that his recruitment is “still the same.”
The Miami Hurricanes coaches haven’t been in contact lately with the 2013 prospect.
“No, I haven’t talked to them at all,” Johnson said about Miami. As far as a leader, he said “I have no interest in anyone, it’s all the same.”
Recently, “Arizona and West Virginia” offered the speedster. He has spent this summer preparing for next season and will try to make it to at least one camp before the beginning of the school year.
“I have just been lifting weights, training and getting stronger,” Johnson said of his summer routine. “I think I am going to West Virginia next week.”
In a college, he is looking for good coaching and how he fits in with the team. “Notre Dame, Arizona, West Virginia and Maryland” are recruiting him the hardest.
His decision should come prior to his season. “I will probably choose by the beginning of the season,” Johnson said.
