Just my two cents but if Donna is making sure UM is being cooperative and helpful then she is just doing her job.
If Donna is able to leverage relationships, call in favors, etc. to reduce the NCAA sanctions then she will have done a masterful job. She will have to do something above and beyond the call of duty to be categorized as masterful.
...personally, I don't think Donna's performance should ever be described as masterful because if she would have listened to and trusted Randy Shannon then Shapiro would have been completely removed from the program in 2008 or earlier.

Ed P
You are so right in that Donna is a very well connected President. She is what we thought she would be when first hired.
Along the same thought process, in that we may come out of this issue with our whole skin, I would caution those who address this issue in print, that the same should apply us as we caution the team not to say anything that could be used agaist us.
For any reason. To call the President of the body NCAA a "LSU clown" is far below your abilities. He may be or not but will he remember this small slight at another time?
If memory serves, most presidents do have rather large egos. Nuff said.
Thank you and stay strong for the Canes.

South Carolina just self imposed a 6 scholarship reduction over 3 years for $55,000 in improper benefits. 2 scholly's a year...if the NCAA agrees with that, we should be sitting pretty.

They did the right thing, but they had in excess of $18k in benefits, while ours totaled officially less than $5k and it was all paid back reportedly.
I can see a loss of 3 scholarships over 3 yrs. 1 per. That might be it. I'd be surprised if we got much more than that. However, the coaches who aren't here?
Show Cause might be in their resume futures....

brittle, let's not put stuff like this in writing. The NCAA may have read the post 'loss of 3 scholarships over 3 yrs. 1 per.' and thought this appropriate.
But THEN - they read YOUR post and we take it right up the kazoo - without lube.
Know what I mean, Vern?
