Thread: This Game ...

Is really embarrassing! Fan support and athlete performance is seriously lacking. Free tickets for the students, and cheap tickets for everyone else. Really don't understand why the fans can't come out for a game that determines if the Canes get to MSG. This is the last game of the season ... Really no excuse!

So disappointed by the start of the game.

I honestly cant understand what you are feeling right now. I mean as long as ive watched college hoops i never really considered miami a premiere or entertaining team. Ima a duke basketball fan and miami football fan so i know the talent miami gets and has but if you talk about miami around the country i guarantee you basketball is the last topic of convo that would come up behind football baseball and hell even academics

Miami is a city full of transplants. No real affiliation with the city for most.

As for the game I can't understand why we're not going inside more. Minnesota is extending their defense guarding against the 3 (which I don't think we've hit one yet) we should be hitting Reggie down low until they have to collapse the defense and then we can get some open looks from the outside.

We need to play some defense, other than going for steals. These dudes have made all layups, dunks, and open mid-range jumpers. If we don't get a steal, we act like we can't play D.

As for the fan support ... My main gripe is with the students. I get the transplant argument ... But why can't/don't the students support? Their tickets are FREE, and they should have some allegiance to the school.

Another example of how inconsistent we were all season. Hopefully, the IQ and toughness improves next season.

Minnesota was walking a lot and most were not called but it is what it is.

Women lost too, which I figured they would without Williams playing. They could have made a nice run if she didn't get suspended...she hurt the team.

Team had the same apathy toward the game as our fanbase. Tough to get up for NIT games but wow that wasn't pretty.
