It's possible. What hurts is that teams like USF won big games tonight.
Rest in Peace, theu75.

yes, and Lunardi keeps putting Northwestern in the tourney despite the fact that they keep losing. I know he doesn't make the decisions on the tourney or even has a say but he's ticking me off. How does a team with a 7-10 conference record get in?
Anyway the game was disappointing, awful shooting, our rebounding sucks...we couldn't keep them off the boards down the stretch and Malcolm Grant taking the last 3 to try and tie it....really? C'mon Malcolm, you're shooting 30% FROM BEHIND THE ARC. Rion Brown should have been the one to take it, even Kadji would have been a better choice despite his crappy shooting night. We need some size, some guys that can play above the rim inside...Kadji and Reggie do not.

Given the option, I think it would have been better to beat Maryland and NC State on the road, and lose to FSU at home. Of course, winning all 3 would have gotten us off of the bubble, and into the NCAA tourney.
Gotta beat BC, and do it BIG! Also, gotta make some noise in the ACC tourney. 3 more wins gets us to 20 ... But I'm not sure 20-12 gets it done??? Anything less will definitely see us in the NIT.

If we beat BC and win just one game in the conference tourney we're at the mercy of the committee but two wins with a 9-7 record gets us in easy imo. I don't know what Lunardi is smoking when it comes to Northwestern, i know the Big Ten is the best conference but a losing record isn't accectable.
We let two great oppurtunities slip by and now we have no room left , to be safe we need to see saturday in the conference tourney or we'll be biting our nails on selection Sunday.
