Reggie Johnson Declares for 2011 NBA draft
according to CS, he has declared due to uncertainty around new bball coach. Has not hired an agent, leaving the window to return open. He has until May 8th I believe to withdraw his name. Not a first rd pick if he stays in draft, still needs to work on conditioning.

Reggie losses some more weight and gets a vertical leap more at least 6 inches more he has a chance at D League or Europe now. At the present time he is not NBA draft material but he could develop in his Senior year if he losses some weight and adds to his vertical. He would be well advised to stay at Miami and improve to the point he can get drafted and make some bonus money, he's getting some bad advice.

According to:
Michelle Kaufman
MiamiHerald.com
2. Convince sophomore center Reggie Johnson to remove his name from the NBA Draft before May 8 and stay in school. Working on it.
Larranaga flew to Greensboro, N.C., on Easter Sunday and drove to Winston-Salem to meet with Johnson and his mother at their home. He and Johnson wound up on the same flight back to Miami, so they chatted some more. The coach also said he is consulting with his NBA friends, including Stu Jackson, to help Johnson make an educated decision.
“We had a wonderful visit at his house,” Larranaga said Wednesday. “I told him the vision I have for the team, and for him, told him stories of former players I helped reach their goals. Our talks have gone very well so far. He has a big decision ahead.”
