Baseball Freshman Making an impact

Just got word the freshman on the team are really good. The upperclassman are holding practices on their own time and the team should be improved from last year! GO CANES!!!

gawd I hope so! I hope our pitching staff is quite a bit better this year! Morris better get it done this year or we need to find someone new.

did we watch the same team last year?

Miami had one of the lowest ERA's since 1995. We had 8 pitchers under 4.0 for the year. Our D is what killed us last year, not our pitching.

I don't see how are pitching staff will be better losing hernandez's arm and grandall calling the pitches. I hope our d steps up, they looked pathetic towards the second half of the season. I love Canes baseball cant wait to see what these freshman bring to the table. Did we make any coaching changes?

Morris is here until he retires and Arteaga becomes the HC, and CFan is right defense hurt the U last year, I have never seen it so erratic.

Morris is one of the greats in college baseball and a college baseball HOF certainty, UM HOF lock. Who knows about Ratliff, he had a decent year but the nose candy was too tempting, sad to say.

The youngsters lookin good, Morris has always recruited well, it is the MLB draft that has hurt him more than other programs out recruiting him have.

The ACC is becoming or has already become one of the premier baseball conferences in the US, all they lack is a NC, Miami's don't count for the ACC.
